I've been wondering why James Paxton has a 5mil contract... I tried to find any instance of him being dropped but I couldn't find one. On the 2010 draft board it says Mariners drafted him but it said no available. I'm really confused on his contract. Can somebody tell me whats up?

JAmes Paxton had to be his on similar to an IFA because he wasn't drafted. He pitched in independent league before Being signed after he signed with an agent and it screwed up his eligibility.
