I understand that I was probably the main reason that OBP was changed to OPS (though I wanted to add SLG % & then another pitching category, not OPS), and in hindsight I really regret doing that stupid post about SLG %, but I'm really hoping that we can go back to OBP. It's the most important offensive stat in terms of runs generated, and OPS is one of the more overrated ones. Doubles guys won't get full value if OPS isn't integrated but to put OPS in at the cost of removing OBP is downright silly, I think.
I strongly urge the admins to re-consider this rule change, as I really think it'd be a colossal mistake to remove OBP.

Agreed. I was underneath the assumption that we were sidebarring this.

My mistake. I was under the impression that it was already a done deal.

No, I prematurely put up a poll assuming that was what the general masses wanted.

We definitely do not want to eliminate OBP, a valuable stat. Our roster was pretty much built around it. Getting rid if it seems like a penalty for our team doing well.
The whole discussion was done so slam bam no one thought much about the changes. Big mistake.
