Uhh, but it is broke. We don't need to have hits AND batting average.

Completely agree with Rays. I'm voting to stay the same in any future poll. Not sure what the tinkering is for. 4 years of trades later I'm not too keen of just shuffling the categories.

We think switching to other categories is probably not the way to go. Better to add a stat on each side than delete one that we have been using.

If we can add one category, great. That way we can get SLG % in there. If people don't want to add another category, I'd very much rather remove BA or hits and implement slugging.
Power is such a premium in today's MLB, and we only have one power category (HRs) in our current system to show for it.

I do think SLG% has to be a stat, and i think just adding on BAA in the pitching side of things works perfectly

We suggested adding SLG and BAA a few days ago.
Would be against dropping BA or hits to add any category. We see nothing wrong with continuing the stats we have been using, but some owners want to add SLG, adding BAA keeps the balance.
Dropping Loses would be a drastic and negative change on the pitching stats side, as teams are itching to run an army of SP out there every week. We strongly veto that idea unless the league trims roster sizes to a more realistic 27-28 players.
