Couple of questions:
1. When will we get our 2015 IFA money? 1st day of the off-season for us? Or at another time?
2. Don't think I've asked this before, but why does the draft start so late? Wouldn't it be better if we started it in September or October?

I believe the original reason it was so late was so it would be after all players either signed or didn't sign. Therefore making sure no one here got screwed out of a draft pick. Now that the MLB has moved up that date, I don't see why we couldn't start sooner. I think it should still be in the offseason. Having something going on for a larger portion of the year is best to keep interest up.

IFA money adds January 1st each year.
The draft can be brought forward to mid October if you like. September isn't fair to those still in playoffs.

I agree, having it in October will keep up the interest in the off-season, i know there a few of us that are on all the time but there are alot who just come on once a week or less during the off-season

October sounds good. The sooner the better, though.

I don't see a reason to rush it. I mean it's not like we're crunched for time in the offseason. I also like waiting til some of the more popular writers release their preseason write ups in players just to get their take on the drafted guys.

I do agree, I like to see / read as much as I can before drafting. If we really have to move it forward, maybe we could start the first Sunday in November rather than the middle of November.

When are we going to give the draft an official start date? After the playoffs conclude?

To be fair to those in playoffs I think a bit of time after playoffs finish to give them time to prepare.
I'd suggest Sunday 2nd November at 7pm ?
