Please note, the following change will come into effect from the 2015 season.
The 'Hits' category will be replaced with 'Slugging %'. Therefore, the hitting scoring categories for 2015 and beyond will be : Runs, HR, RBI, Steals, K's, Avge, OBP and SLG.
We have also implemented minimum AB & IP limits to qualify to win categories.
The minimum AB limit is 75 at bats. We have randomly checked weeks from last season and most teams will easily exceed this limit each week.
The minimum IP limit will be 25 innings pitched. We have also randomly checked last season and most teams exceeded this limit as well.
These minimum limits are in place to ensure each team at least makes an effort to field a MLB team. Whilst we do not have a problem with rebuilds, we still expect teams to field some semblance of MLB team. Failure to meet these minimum guidelines will result in the Executive meeting to discuss whether your 1st round pick should be taken away for blatant tanking / making no effort to be competitive.
