I dunno, it was set up by Rays and Dodgers. It probably went by date and last year we started playoffs a week earlier.

Ok here is the best thing i could do....
the NL playoff matchups are set up correctly in the playoff league, THE NL will be run FOR NOW in the playoff league
THE AL playoff matchups are set up correctly in the AL LEAGUE, the AL playoffs will be in the AL LEAGUE FOR NOW
sorry guys, but this is the only way i could set it up.

Not very clear. We have no idea what you mean... Is there something we as owners have to do besides just post our rosters?

I'd say the safe option for now is to run your best rosters in both the normal league plus the playoff league.
Thanks for doing such a great job with this Rockies, I will have to learn how to do all that stuff so I can help out in future.

it is too late to set up a new league. there is no way for me to do it this late in the real MLB season.
I think we can run it like this until the WS, so we may have to do it the old fashion way.

Is there anyway next year we let Royals and Rockies make espn leagues as Dodgers and rays have ditched us? Just so this doesnt repeat.

Hindsight is wonderful but I should have realised that Dodgers and Rays are obviously very busy as is Royals. I sent PMs to Rays and Dodgers a couple of weeks ago and they never even opened them.
I say we just call off the playoffs and declare the winner to whoever finished with the best regular season record ...

I was only kidding about canceling it, even if we have to manually do it this year then so be it.

Just to go on record, we looked at the Playoffs League this morning and it shows Yanks playing the Mariners, and up 12-0-4. That is wrong, right? We should have a bye this week. Not sure where the "real" league is or what is happening. We are assuming those in charge have a handle on this situation... Incidentally, there are still only two DL slots on the page, so we had to drop Jeff Niemann to add Drew Pomeranz. Niemann is scheduled to return to active status soon, so we want to make certain he is available to us should we stay alive in the playoffs that long. This is the link we have: games.espn.go.com/flb/clubhouse?leagueId=2423&teamId=9&seasonId=2012If there is another one we don't know of, please PM us.

The playoff league is useless at this point. Nothing will be tracked there. I believe what is being proposed is using the actual AL and NL leagues. We will have to compare the stats generated by one team versus the team they are playing I suppose since I doubt everyone is lined up to play each other head to head they way they should be. Yanks and Royals are in a bye in the AL...

What? I was dropped from the NL league so I could join the playoffs. Someone needs to either drop me in the playoffs and add me in the NL. I believe mets did the same.
