We should try and come up with different lists in different orders of who's been inactive and for how long. Might be a fun game while we wait to decide if we're gonna replace these dedicated Fantasy players.

Excuse the excell formatting copy/paste job but i think this is simple enough. The only major improvement that could be made to this list is if an admin could see if the questionably active owners have PM'd recently.

Some of these are pretty odd but honestly I'd be OK with replacing them all.

Indians, Nationals, Pirates, and Angels are all new owners who though signing on fairly steadily have been extremely inactive. And i mean come on, we were already close to replacing Nats once. And as much as i can't wait to hear the, "I'm a United States Air Force Officer" speech again, the dude obviously is not cut out for the activity this league deserves, and neither are the other new owners.

Mets is close but i know i have sent him a few PM's and never gotten a reply. He's pretty borderline imo because OK, if you want to be an isolated owner but take care of your team, i guess that's fine...but it does zap some fun out of the league...at least from my perspective. +

Phillies is a no-brainer.

Reds do you have guys? Saying we are going to replace them is one thing, finding quality, active replacement owners for a league like this is never easy (at least not for me). I haven't emailed any of the guys in question. Cards/Tim can you email them? Kind of a final warning kind of thing?

Let's see, Phils, Pirates, Nats, Indians? Start there? We should definitely get owners before the draft.

Indians has been on here & there, but it's not very often. Wouldn't mind seeing him replaced in favor of a much more active owner.

Reds has brought in two good, active owners in Rays & Dodgers. I wouldn't mind if he brought in a few more of his buddies.

We'll give them what... 2 days? 3 days? To respond. This is a holiday so maybe an extra day to make up for that.

I need 100% confirmation from the TPB Commissioner that the owners are in fact not in the league any more. I had a great guy who helps me run other Dynasty Leagues get the go ahead to take over the Orioles back in May. Then the absent Orioles owner comes back, flips out about being ousted and eventually gets his spot back. My guy was asked to leave and wasn't too happy about the situation and pretty much wondered what the fuck was going on here.

When its confirmed what owners are gone, I will send a message out to people in my leagues. As for now, I don't have any idea what the interest level is.

As I said I'm not sure what the interest level is. It may end up being no one is interested. But it shouldn't be held against me if I can't drum any interest up and I'm a vocal league member about delinquent managers.

I've decided to give them three days to respond to the email. I'll let you know Wednesday night or Thursday how many we need to replace. After that, I'll give you another week or so to contact your guys then I'll post on minorleagueball to try to find any more we may need. I've had pretty good success with guys from that site. Several owners on this thread included.

We did Oct 9th in 2011, Nov. 15th in 2012. I wouldn't mind waiting until January to get past the holidays this year since we usually get interrupted.

Think in the past we targeted the end of the World Series (or later) as a possible Rookie Draft starting date.

Guys whose teams miss the playoffs usually like the return to action the draft provides.
