Let me get this straight, Since Kazmir signed with the Dodgers and is getting $3M base with $5M bonus in 2016, $8M salary base a year 2017-2018, with $8M/year deferred with 2019-2021... I only have to pay $3M this year. www.spotrac.com/mlb/los-angeles-dodgers/scott-kazmir/ |

We use Cots, his salary is $11M for 2016 then $16M for next two years after that.

I think you're wrong Cards. We've gone by the terms of the contract in many recent precedent contracts like this.

Like which? Didn't on Greinke. Sure hope we aren't on Scherzer or else his salary is 0M from 2019-21.

I did research on Kershaw to try to find a similiarity, and looks like his contract follows COTs.
