Not sure how we handle this, but I'm good either way.

Bidding opened on Butler before he signed his new contract, but by the time the bidding window was closed his new MLB deal was in place.

Should he be 2M (TPB bid), or 500k (IRL new contract)?

To clarify, the winning bid was submitted on 9/14 and he signed his new contract on 9/15.

since he was signed here before his real life contract then it should be what his real life contract is. if that is 500K then thats what it should be

Dodgers is correct and let's be honest, he'll sign a new contract in the offseason so that price will carry through to 2017 anyway.

And that's why I wasn't particularly worried about what the answer was going to be. Nice to free up 1.5M until the though, so figured it was worth asking.
