When Upton signs the Minor League contract he is expected to sign with San Francisco after his release from Toronto, can I change his salary hit from $3TPB to 500K?

So, now, same question with respect to Michael Saunders, who was released from the Gawdawful contract he had with Philly and signed a Minor League deal with the Blue Jays? Cap Relief, here I come!!!!!!!
