AB minimum for week 1

I know we discussed dropping the minimum for IP to 4/7 of the usual limit due to the short week (14 IP).  I assume we're doing the same for AB's (43 AB's)?

I don't see a way to manually set it for each week or to change it for one particular week.

It does seem like the minimums hit a lot of teams though.

There's the override for all minimums going team by team. For the 2 teams that met the 43 AB limit (and not the 75), but who didn't meet the 14 IP limit, I'd have to manually override the matchup scores. Not terrible since it was only two teams.

That seems fair and reasonable to me. Wait for Andrew to confirm though. Don't see why we wouldn't shorten the minimums though.

Description of change: BAL had an "illegal roster" for 3/30 because Tolleson, Shawn RP - TEX Minor Leagues was kept on Injured Reserve status for longer than allowed.

I don't believe we have any rule against this. I can update Fantrax so that the issue doesn't happen again.

Impact of changes:

Prior to changes - TOR beat BAL 10.5 - 5.5

After changes - BAL beat TOR 9-7 by taking AVG, OBP, and SLG.

No change to the CIN/STL score as CIN still loses AVG/OBP/SLG with a .240/.333/.260 batting line.

Let me know if you're good with me removing the penalty for having a player on DL for too long.  Historically we only restrict when players can be added to the DL, but not when they need to be taken off of it.

IMO if that rule currently exists where a roster is deemed illegal based on a guy being on the DL for longer than allowed. That rule should be wiped. Fantrax forces you to move a guy who is not DL eligible once you attempt to make any sort of roster move. I don't believe stats should be lost due to a player who is owned just being in a slot they may not qualify for, other than Minors/Majors and our IP/AB thresholds.

Off topic from Minimum PA's & IP

Why is a lineup allowed to happen even when deemed illegal on Fantrax for our league? It should be a definite forced you are not allowed to perform that function and have that lineup.

Like right now it permitted me to have 4 OF's as a saved lineup for today, but I would likely not receive any points due to the illegal lineup

I figured it out. The issue is, the mode you wish to set your lineup with "Classic" or "Easy Click". If you're in Classic it allows you to overbook positions. In Easy Click you can only move a player into a lineup where there's an open spot or he can be swapped.
