Hello all,
Andrew and I have been talking. There has always been an issue with slack roster movements in the league. It happens to everyone. You claim a guy, forget to post a drop and roster counts get off, or you forget to add him to your roster because of it. We've decided to try to limit these roster issues by implementing the following procedures:
-Whenever a team places a claim on a player, the team must indicate who will be dropped to provide a space or note that there is already an open roster space. -Whenever a team places a bid on a player, upon winning the team will have 72 hours to drop a player (this can be avoided by indicating who will be dropped when making the bid) or noting that there is an open roster space. If no action is taken within 72 hours, the player won with the bid will immediately be placed back into free agency.
These procedures DO NOT overwrite the previous procedure of posting a separate drop post. The post in the Dropped Players thread is the official drop.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to voice them here or by messaging myself and/or Andrew.
-Tim
