I think 11 Managers didn't vote because some people have become complacent and apathetic. They sign into Proboards have a quick look around at trades, adds, drops and leave.
I'd be willing to bet the past few votes the same Managers who didn't vote in those, didn't vote here.

26 people voted in the salary cap increase poll but only 19 voted on this one.
Is it possible to see who voted and who didn't vote?

I believe the person who creates the Poll can see who voted

Ideally we get more than 18 votes but there’s already a majority so this passes. Or maybe this is why 1/3 of the people didn’t vote. Because Dan basically said we don’t need your vote for this to pass

I commented so don't count me as apathetic...just didn't realize this was actually a poll.
I agree both that this change is an absolute no-brainer and that we should follow a measured process even in the case of no-brainers.

Because Dan basically said we don’t need your vote for this to pass I know it's the holidays. But if you can't click on a thread to check a box in 9 days, there might be a problem. And I'll once again say this. For EVERY vote a League wide PM or email should go out advising EVERY Manager that there is a vote for a change to the League and their participation in the vote is encouraged, otherwise they don't have a leg to stand on if they bitch afterwards and didn't participate. I'm also suggesting that EVERY vote going forward MUST be tabled by a member of the Executive. And that means if someone asks for a legitimate poll to be put up, a poll GETS put up.

Totally agree with this. it's not for one person in the league to post a poll and after the results of the poll declare that a rule change should happen immediately. It's only for an ADMIN to post a poll after the league wide PM goes out. There needs to be a discussion on every rule change.

So if we've established that it should start with a discussion followed by a poll by the exec committee, can we move forward on this with further discussion so we can put it to bed so it doesn't become contentious over something relatively small?
One manager voted no - maybe they'd share their thoughts to see if the ones who voted yes are missing something?

Agree with a lot of the responses here, but I’d say so many people didn’t vote because there wasn’t a league wide PM or email about a poll over the holidays.
Fwiw - I was the one who voted no. In a vote that is 20-1, I’m not sure there’s much reason to have a debate though I’d at least share my basic sentiment since it was asked. I’m more of a fan of the way the current scoring set up is (and has been for years) and I like the consistency in the counting stats. In turn, teams who have the huge AB advantages typically win the overwhelming majority of counting stats but lose batting K’s. Overall, I’d say it’s mostly just a mixture of a consistency and a “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” vote of no for me. If I wanted to identify scoring cat changes, batting K’s wouldn’t be in the top couple I’d look at. But again, that’s why we have 30 managers in a pretty darn rock solid league.
Like Jon said, I’m cool with passing things that are no brainers (even if I voted no), but a measured process remains the best way to do so.

Appreciate you chiming in as to the no vote Twins, wasn't intending to call anyone out, just wanted to hear from the other side. Looking back to 2021 when I fielded the worst team in the league I won K's almost every single week (provided I hit mins, were a couple early weeks I did not). I think there were 2 weeks that I legitimately lost the category. I attached the cherrypicked worst offending week where I had no business winning a single category. Attachments:
