Is their anyway we can add more dl spots. I mean 2 is a decent number, but I have like 6 guys on the dl and i can't do anything with them, but leave them on my bench. I believe in mlb their is unlimited, but im not sure. Thanks.

We'll have to maybe put this to a vote or discuss it at least, I like the idea of at least making it 3. One thing to consider we also have 2 minor league DL spots so if any guys qualify for the minor leagues (less than 50 IP or 125 AB in the bigs last year) they can be stored in your minors in a DL slot.

I don't see the harm in one more slot, as long as players on the DL are included in the cap but empty DL slots do not cost $1M

I don't see anyone arguing against this really. How about we just do it and say as of now we have 3 DL spots. Also it should be noted though: any player must be paid IN FULL even when they are on your DL but DL slots do not cost anything when empty.

We think as long as the DL spots require the player to carry his full salary there is no reason we shouldn't add one more. No harm to anyone and it may help someone.
Are you saying that an injured player off our MLB roster (someone with a long-term injury or illness, like Brandon Webb or Jake Peavy, or Ben Sheets) for example) can be stashed in a DL slot on out MiLBroster?

Well I just tried to change it from 2 to 3 on ESPN but it cannot be done unless we reset the draft it says. But everyone feel free to use 3 DL slots here on proboards and if you want you can drop a DL eligible guy on ESPN and just add him again when you want to reactivate him, will work the same as DL, no one is going to be able to claim them cuz you drop them on ESPN.

People can only go in your milb roster if they had less than 50 IP or 125 ABs last year (2010). So Peavy could not be stashed in the milb DL but I suppose Webb could since he did not pitch last year. They must still be paid IN FULL if placed in minors (even on DL) however.

Now that we have gone 3 DL spots for our MLB should we do the same for our milb? I for one am seeing a lot of my minor leaguers go down.

I don't think there should be a DL for your minor league team. the DL is designed so that you can keep enough players on your roster for depth reasons. There is no scoring for minor league players so there really isn't any need other than to just pickup FAs that are just gonna sit there. However, I think that there could be an exception for long-term injuries, like maybe players who go on the 60-day DL.
